Einstein Monroe

 

Take a look at the above picture. What do you see? It looks like a faint image of Albert Einstein.

Now step far back from the computer screen. Now take another look. Notice anything different?

The image you see depends upon the perspective you take. Up close it’s Einstein. At a distance it’s Marilyn Monroe. Clearly, our perceptual position determines how we view the image. It is the same with information. This is why it’s important to learn how to shift perspective and look at your subject in many different ways.

Once we have settled on a perspective, we close off all but one line of thought.
