Word Associations
Want a little challenge? These word association problems should provide that, and hopefully be fun for you.
Instructions:
Each of the following problems has a highlighted keyword and three item words. For each problem, you are to choose the one item word that is most clearly associated, either directly or indirectly, with that problem’s highlighted keyword.
For example, given the keyword Homer, which of these 3 item words is most clearly associated with it?
- Rome
- Simpson
- Run
In this case, the best answer is “B. Simpson” because Homer Simpson is a well known cartoon character.
The next 20 problems will, in a few cases, be a bit more difficult and will require different kinds of thinking. You have one chance to pick the most correct item for each keyword, so carefully consider each problem’s keyword and three available item answers before you click on an item answer. Try to solve all of the problems, and then check your score at the bottom of the page.
